chihiro project
Chihiro & Haku are a married couple who primarily reside in Tokyo, Japan. After their success in the film, Spirited Away, they retired and began enjoying practicing a variety of sports together. Driven by their passion for skiing, they purchased a second home in the heart of Niseko, an upscale ski village in the Hokkaido prefecture of Japan and are looking to redesign their home to their taste.
They feel most comfortable in a space that is minimalist, practical, calming, and warm. They prefer a spacious bathroom to celebrate and symbolize their love, and a large utility closet to store ski equipment. They spend a lot of time just the two of them and love to have tea together and enjoy the view outside. They are accustomed to Japanese interiors and want the final design to resemble a style that is familiar to them with a modern twist. They are a younger couple and want a look that is modern, dressy and refined.
