Daniel Arsham is a modern visual artist based in NYC who creates sculptural art that focus around the relationship between antiquity and technology. He creates both small and large scale sculptures and some can be displayed both indoors & outdoors. He works with a small team consisting of 15 people and requires the whole team to be onsite to produce his work.
Materials used in his art include crystals, marbles, clay, plaster, stone, metal and ivory. He uses tools including calipers, cutters, knives and other modeling tools. He also uses general art materials like paint, spray paint and application tools like brushes and various adhesives. He also uses software programs to model his work and requires a computer and a monitor in his studio.
